![]() There's a Hogwart’s Express train that takes you from one park to another but for that you need ticket to both parks which allows you to visit both parks on same day. ![]() ![]() We went during a week day and were able to finish both parks in 2 days without express pass. If you are a crazy Harry Potter fan, you MUST visit both the theme parks. Volcano Bay is a water park, other 2 are theme parks. They have 3 parks Universal Studios Florida, Universal’s Islands of Adventure and Volcano Bay. Take the Hogwart Express, go to the other park (you directly reach Hogsmeade) - but come back to Universal Studios, that's the best part of the 2 parks. But if you download the Universal Studios app before, it will tell you how much time you have to wait even before you move there.īuying the interactive wands is a must for kids - they cost a lot ($50) but provides magic to kids in many places (in the park). Of course, you have long queues to some attractions. The houses, the shops, the front of shops (the ones you can't go in), the restaurants, the Butter Beer, the Gringotts bank, calling the Ministry of Magic, the night bus. In Diagon Alley, everything is nearly identical to the books (and the movies - but kids preferred the books). In a way, that's the price to "pay" but once you are there, fans will be *delighted*. The annoying thing is that you have to first go through the "City Walk" (which is just a big mall with lots of overpriced restaurants) then cross the entire Studio park to finally reach the Harry Potter world. On the first day, we went straight to Diagon Alley (the Harry Potter part). We booked a 3 days + 2 nights package (I'll review the Endless Summer hotel separately but it was really nice, in a nutshell). But the 2 main advices I will remember are: 1) arrive as early as possible if you can and 2) start your "Harry Potter pilgrimage" by Universal Studios (not from Island of Adventures). I read so many websites and watched so many videos about how to optimize your visit to Universal Studios Orlando.
